DESCRIPTION:
Sun has acknowledged a vulnerability in Samba included in Solaris,
which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 9 with patch 114684-12
(SPARC) or 114685-12 (x86).

SOLUTION:
The vendor recommends to set the "dos filemode" option in
/etc/sfw/smb.conf to "no".
