The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the processing of XMM exceptions, which can be exploited to e.g. cause a kernel panic. Successful exploitation requires that the system is running an i386 kernel. The vulnerability is reported in OpenBSD 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Apply patches.
