DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Windows,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's
system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to unspecified errors in the Indeo
codec and can be exploited to corrupt memory by tricking a user into
viewing specially crafted media content.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
Microsoft has issued an update that reduces the attack surface by
preventing loading of Indeo content from the Internet zone in general
and via Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player. However, other
third-party applications may still use it to render media content and
thus present attack vectors.
