The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the TLS protocol while handling session renegotiations. This can be exploited via Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks to insert arbitrary plaintext before data sent by a legitimate client in an existing TLS session. The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0.2, 6.1, and 7.0. SOLUTION: Update the GSKit security library to version 7.0.4.27 (please see the vendor's advisory for details).
