This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed. 2) Input passed to the "include_file" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources via directory traversal sequences. 3) Input passed to the "which" parameter in index.php (when "include_file" is set to "knowledgebase_list.php" and "x_category" is set to "PARENT_CATEGORY") and to the "which" parameter in function.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 1.8. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure input is properly sanitised.
