This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. Successful exploitation requires that the Private Messaging module is installed. 2) Input passed to the "not_list" parameter in include/notification_update.php via third-party modules (e.g. News) is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.4.2. Prior versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.4.3. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Stefano Angaran, reported via Secunia.
