DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to certain libraries not being
installed together with Trusted Extensions and can be exploited to
run arbitrary code with escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 10 for both the SPARC and
x86 platforms, having Solaris Trusted Extensions running.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches.

Apply  patch 143502-01 or later.


-- x86 Platform --

Solaris 10:
Apply patch 143503-01 or later.
