The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) GIOP requests. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted CORBA GIOP request. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges on a Windows system. The vulnerability is reported in version 2.6 and earlier for Windows.
