ncpfs "ncpmount" / "ncpumount" Race Condition Security Issues

DESCRIPTION:
Some security issues have been reported in ncpfs, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to disclose potentially sensitive
information, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and potentially gain
escalated privileges.

The security issues are caused due to unspecified race conditions
within the "ncpmount" and "ncpumount" utilities, which can be
exploited via symlink attacks.

Note: Successful exploitation may require that the affected utilities
are suid root.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
