The vulnerability is caused due to the application insecurely calling the preg_replace() function with the "e" modifier. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code via the input filter in a Signwriter profile. The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.x.1.1 and in versions prior to 5.x-1.6. SOLUTION: Signwriter 6.x: The vulnerability has been fixed in Signwriter 6.x-2.0-beta2.
