DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Times-Ten In-Memory
Database, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the "timestend" daemon
when processing HTTP requests. This can be exploited to crash the
process via an overly large HTTP request sent to TCP port 17000.

The vulnerability is reported in version 7.0.5. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict network access to trusted users only.
