DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in the WebHtmlEditor component of
NetAdvantage, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose
potentially sensitive information.

Input passed via the "InitialDirectory" parameter to the component
(when "iged_uploadid" is set to "InsertImage" or "Open") is not
properly verified before being used. This can be exploited to browse
the directory structure via directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability is confirmed  in the WebHtmlEditor component
shipped with NetAdvantage for Web Client 2009 Vol. 2. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
