The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing JPEG images. This can be exploited to corrupt heap memory via a specially crafted JPEG file. This is related to: SA38435 Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.6.1.142. Other versions may also be affected.
