The vulnerability is caused by an integer overflow error in kvolefio.dll when parsing OLE files and can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in version 10.5. Other versions may also be affected.
