---------------------------------------------------------------------- Use WSUS to deploy 3rd party patches Public BETA http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/corporate/wsus_3rd_third_party_patching/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TITLE: RogioBiz PHP File Manager Authentication Security Bypass SECUNIA ADVISORY ID: SA38937 VERIFY ADVISORY: http://secunia.com/advisories/38937/ DESCRIPTION: A security issue has been discovered in RogioBiz PHP File Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions. The security issue is caused due to an error in the authentication mechanism in rbfminc/session.php, which can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism by passing the same arbitrary values via the "username" and "password" parameters twice. Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled. The security issue is confirmed in version 1.2. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to the application directory (e.g. via .htaccess).
