The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing network packets. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted packet sent to UDP port 19800. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in mxserver-2010-02-06. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Use the product in trusted networks only.
