DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Views module for
Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script
insertion attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting attacks.

1) Certain input passed via the AJAX response is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.

2) Input passed via file descriptions is not properly sanitised
before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious
data is being viewed.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires permissions to
upload files.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 6.x-2.9.

Update to version 6.x-2.9.
