DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in mod_auth_shadow, which can
potentially by exploited by malicious people to bypass certain
security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to a race condition error in
mod_auth_shadow.c when invoking an external binary, which can
potentially be exploited to bypass authentication checks.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.3 or 1.7.
