Kleophatra CMS "module" Cross-Site Scripting and File Enumeration

DESCRIPTION:
A security issue and a vulnerability have been discovered in
Kleophatra CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks and enumerate files on an affected
system.

1) Input passed via the "module" parameter to index.php is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed via the "module" parameter to index.php is not
properly sanitised before being used to check for the existence of
files. This can be exploited to enumerate existing files via
directory traversal sequences and URL-encoded NULL bytes.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.

The security issue and the vulnerability are confirmed in version
0.1.1. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
