This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 2) The application allows upload of files with arbitrary extensions to a folder inside the webroot while adding new articles, files, or media. This can be exploited to upload arbitrary files inside the webroot and e.g. execute arbitrary PHP code. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires permissions to access the "Articles", "Files", or "Media" sections in the administrative panel. The vulnerabilities are reported in version 4.5.8. Other versions may also be exploited. SOLUTION: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. Grant only trusted users access to the affected sections.
