The vulnerability is caused due to an error when extracting the size of a packet having an invalid checksum. This can be exploited to pass an overly large size parameter to "malloc()" and terminate the server via a specially crafted UDP packet. The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.0.0. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Host games in trusted networks only.
