This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 2) An error in the authentication mechanism can be exploited to log in to JIRA using Crowd SSO without having the "JIRA Users" permission. This affects JIRA instances that are connected to Atlassian Crowd and are using Crowd Single Sign On (SSO). 3) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without proper validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to trigger a logout if a user views a specially crafted issue. 4) Some vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of vulnerable JIRA FishEye Plugin code. For more information: SA40185 5) Some vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of vulnerable JIRA Bamboo Plugin code. For more information: SA40202 SOLUTION: Update to version 4.1.2 or later.
