The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the embedded web server when parsing the HTTP "Host" header and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is confirmed in the following products: * Memory Database System 1.02 * Online Survey System version 2006 1.0 * MemCompany 1.0 Other products and versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Restrict access to the web service to trusted hosts only (e.g. via network access control lists).
