The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing FTP server responses and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that a user connects to a specially crafted FTP server. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.77.
