The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain packets and can be exploited to corrupt memory by e.g. sending a specially crafted TS2T_VOICE_DATA_CELP_WINDOWS_5_2 packet. The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.0.32.60 for Windows. Other versions may also be affected. SOLUTION: Update to version 2.0.33.7, which appears to be unaffected. Reportedly also fixed in the latest TeamSpeak 3.x version. PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Jokaim, nSense.
