The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the HTTP protocol implementation, which does not encrypt the headers of some of the NetSupport HTTP packets. This can be exploited to disclose certain sensitive information e.g. client IP address, MAC address, and username of the logged in user by intercepting the HTTP packets between the NetSupport Manager Gateway and NetSupport Manager Controls or NetSupport Manager Clients.
