This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 2) Input appended to the URL after index.php/Special:DownloadFile (when "download" is set) is not properly sanitised in plugins/SpecialUpdownload.php before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 3) Input appended to the URL after index.php/Special:Login/Main_Page is not properly sanitised in plugins/SpecialUserFuncs.php before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 4) Input passed via the "pagename" parameter to index.php (when "title" is set to "CreatePage", "do" is set to "Create Page", and "namespace" is set) is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 5) Input passed via the "subject" parameter to index.php (when "title" is set to "Special:PrivateMessages/Compose/Send" and "_savedraft" is set to "Save as draft") is not properly sanitised in plugins/SpecialPrivateMessages.php before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 6) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. send and delete private messages if a logged-in user visits a malicious web site. 7) Input passed via the "subject" parameter to index.php when sending a private message is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed. The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.6pl3. Other versions may also be affected SOLUTION: Update to version 1.0.6pl4.
