The weakness is caused due to the device disclosing the questions and answers for the password reset functionality via unauth.cgi within the returned HTML source code and this can be exploited to gain access to administrative credentials. Successful exploitation requires a previous, successfully completed password recovery. The weakness is reported in versions 1.0.0.22 and prior. SOLUTION: Restrict network access to the device to trusted hosts only.
