The security issue is caused due to the use of an invalid regular expression when verifying the hostname of the SSL server certificates, which leads to a subset of the hostname being accepted as a valid hostname. This can be exploited to e.g. conduct Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks. The security issue is reported in versions 0.4.2 and later. SOLUTION: Update to version 0.11.1.
