The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing certain packets and can be exploited to cause a device to reload via specially crafted packets sent to or through the device. Successful exploitation requires the switch to have Supervisor Engine 7L-E. The vulnerability is reported in switches running IOS XE 03.02.00.XO.15.0(2)XO.
