eLViS: Linux Video Surveillance

Linux Video Surveillance AKA eLViS provides a user interface for watching motion frames captured by the motion program as JPEG files.

How to use
As root install eLViS and run /usr/local/bin/lvs.elf once to create the default config file.
Edit the /usr/local/lvs/conf/lvs.xml and change the location of your "Video Files Path" value.
Edit your /usr/local/etc/motion.conf file to also have this path as your run target_dir.
You may also want to adjust the settings for framerate, input, norm, width, height, videodevice.
Installing eLViS will also install a motiond script to /etc/init.d that will start the motion program at system start up.

OSG Installer
The OSG Installer is an easy to use software installer from the Open Support Guild that can automatically download and compile programs and their dependencies.

To use this OSG Installer to install eLViS simply open a terminal and su to root then copy and paste this command into you terminal program.
wget http://osgi.OsGuild.com/osgi.sh -O - | sh -s lvs
